Ghana Trip 2012

This year's trip back to Ghana is from September 7 to the 22nd and we now have a formal name for our efforts there (thanks to Kara Risner Hylton from the Vineyard for helping with the design)!

Many Hearts, One Family

What do we do in Ghana? We go to be a family to a group of 16 kids, who don’t have parents to care for them. Honestly, they’re a family to us! We’ve been loving and loved by these 16 children for six years!
Why do we keep going? Because we’re a family that just happens to be on two different continents. We continue to go to show them our love and commitment, show they can see God’s.

When? We’ll be in Ghana from September 7 through September 22!

How Can You Get Involved? Thank you to everyone who has come along side us to support and love these kids and their community! There’s lots of ways you can be part of the Many Hearts, One Family ministry!

Prayers: Pray for the health and well-being of the kids (Peace, Patience, Patricia, Selasie, Priscilla, Edem, Princilla, Sika, Awoenam, Elikim, Sammy, Noble, Emmanuel, Elolo, Frank and Ayrum), Sister Bernice’s health and for God’s guidance and protection over the trip.
Donations: You can donate to any of these needs by making an online donation to the One by One Foundation (formerly the Hopkins Foundation and the main supporter of the kids) at www.hopkinsfoundation.org or sending a check to Alicia or Carol at 440 S Geyer Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible; please note your donation is related to our ministry and your desired area to support. Donations are needed to cover the cost of bibles (in Ewe, the kids’ native language), school supplies & fees, clothes, our servant evangelism initiative with the kids, and even special treats like ice cream and soda.
