The internet here in Ghana has been down the past two days and is still touchy, so this will have to be a quick one! Momma Carol was worried though that our friends back home would worry! The kids have taken to my Mom very quickly and are calling her Mummy, which she of course loves. She says they are her African grandchildren and has already started crying at the thought of having to leave them!
Sadly, several of the kids that were here last year are now gone, went back to siblings, guardians, etc. I am sad not to see them but I am hopeful they are in good, loving arms now. Several new children are here now and are stealing our hearts very quickly! We will have pics tomorrow hopefully. Right now the kids have gone off with some other volunteers to a pool at the hotel. I don't think these kids have ever been swimming before, but they have a kiddie pool, so they should be full of stories for us when they return.
Okay, there is only one computer working in this cafe and now a line has formed of Ghanaians and they are starting at me! Gotta go......
